Pat G. Kaplan is a real estate leader who has been active in the industry for more than 30 years. She currently owns the Kaplan Real Estate Group, a Portland, Ore., real estate brokerage firm that also offers seller and buyer brokerage services, industry education classes and real estate consulting services. She is an active board member of the National Association of REALTORS®, the Oregon Association of REALTORS®, Realtors® Multiple Listing Service and serves as Secretary on the International Housing Council Board of Directors.
Pat served as Treasurer of the National Association of Realtors® for three years and chaired the Financing Workgroup for NAR’s award winning LEED building in Washington DC. Pat was a founding board member and Chair of the Realtors® Relief Foundation which raised and distributed over $11 million for the victims of the 9-11 tragedy. In addition, Pat has represented NAR on the boards of DocuSign, Second Century Ventures and the Realtors® Federal Credit Union. She currently serves on the for-profit boards of Sentrilock and is Chairperson of the 14,000+ member regional Realtors® Multiple Listing Service.
Prior to launching Kaplan Real Estate Group, Pat was designated broker of Windermere/Cronin & Caplan Realty Group and its more than 450 agents. She also served as Windermere Oregon’s education director. Before joining Windermere, Pat was designated broker for Stan Wiley Realtors®, earning awards for company growth and agent productivity. Pat has been honored as Oregon’s Realtor® of the Year, received the Oregon Realtor® Distinguished Service Award, in addition to numerous awards for her business accomplishments and humanitarian efforts. In 2016, Pat was distinguished by the National Association of Realtors® as the 89th recipient of the Distinguished Service Award…the only Oregon broker to ever receive this honor.
