Norm Flynn

Mr. Flynn has over 40 years of experience as a practicing real estate professional in development, commercial, and residential real estate in the United States and with International clients.  He also has deep experience in organized real estate serving as the local, state and national president of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and over 80 related leadership experiences since 1972.  Since 1985, Flynn has traveled large portions of the world evaluating and studying real estate practices for the International Real Property Foundation (IRPF) and NAR including: 14 countries of CEE/NIS (over 1,200 days since 1990), 12 countries in Western Europe, 3 countries of the Far East, and 4 in Africa.  In addition, Flynn has helped design and/or spoken at dozens of international real estate conferences including: 5 FIABCI World Congresses; 11 Central European Real Estate Association Network (CEREAN) conferences; 2 World Bank workshops and over 100 National Association of Realtors meetings.

Mr. Flynn has been with the International Real Property Foundation (IRPF, now a part of IHC Global) since its inception in 1992. He has worked in 30 countries, and spent more then 1,000 days abroad working to build strong, stable, and fair real estate markets across the globe. Some of the countries in which he has consulted for IRPF are: China, Indonesia, Turkey, Mexico, Brazil, Panama, the Ukraine, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, and the Czech Republic. He is well-known in the world of commercial real estate both at home and abroad, and has extensive experience in the fields of brokerage, project development, property management, association management and development, real estate economics, and organizational assessment.

Mr. Flynn has held leadership positions in the National Association of REALTORS (NAR) for 25 years, and he served as the President of the association in 1990.  He delivers approximately 75 major speeches per year at conferences, conventions and training seminars throughout the United States and the world on a variety of topics including: communications, civic and government involvement, leadership training, investment real estate, property management, and rent control.
